The Dakar rally of 2024 will take some time, but for the participants the preparations are already in full swing. This is also the case within Paul Spierings' Dakar team, where many things are already concrete. The team will start in January with no less than 3 buggies.
Paul Spierings will man a buggy together with his regular navigator Jan Pieter van der Stelt, the second will be driven by the man behind RaceArt, Roger Grouwels. Grouwels is a racer pur sang who, not without merit, has raced all over the world. In 2020 he was european champion and world champion in the Ferrari Challenge. This year Grouwels made his debut in the Dakar rally, unfortunately not so successful due to a lot of material failure. In the upcoming Dakar there must be revenge and Grouwels has joined the Spierings team for this. "Roger and I have different backgrounds in motorcycle and motorsport, but by sharing each other's knowledge and experience, we can both move forward. We complement each other perfectly and the collaboration with RaceArt is also a nice boost for the whole team".
